Born in Papua New Guinea, raised in Brisbane, currently based in Melbourne - 22 year old Megan Washington has the world at her feet. Megan has spent the past year recording her debut EP (due out prior to end of 2008), touring with Old Man River in Australia, Italy and other parts of Europe, performing a selection of original songs in collaboration with Paul Grabowsky in Australia and London as well as winning the Best Female singer at the 2008 Bell Awards. Not to mention a two month stint living and performing in New York. To cap it off Megan has now signed an exclusive publishing agreement with Albert Music for the world.
