Triple J Hottest 100 Alberts Songwriters

Every Australia Day, there is a music poll that stops the nation, the Triple J Hottest 100 countdown. Alberts would like to congratulate their talented songwriters who were represented in this year’s Triple J Hottest 100 listeners voted music poll.
Celebrating the best 100 songs of the year as voted by their listeners, Triple J broadcasted and tweeted the countdown live to their eagerly awaiting listenership.
Wally De Backer aka Gotye appeared 3 times in the countdown with “In Your Light” (#87), “I Feel Better” (#34) and his break-up ode “Somebody That I Used To Know (featuring Kimbra) ” rounding up the countdown at #1!!
The duet featuring Kimbra was also the highest selling Australian song of last year. Congratulations Wally!
The awesome indie-popsters San Cisco received an incredible show of support for their infectiously sweet single “Awkward” which came in at #7. Go San Cisco!
Megan Washington’s epic “Holy Moses” from the “INSOMNIA” release came in at an impressive #59. The news came in just hours after finishing up a sold out Sydney Opera House performance.
UK singer/songwriter, director, actor and all-round amazing person, Cosmo Jarvis had his Triple J Hottest 100 debut at #85 for his runaway hit “Gay Pirates”.
