SAN CISCO SIGN WITH ALBERTS World-wide publishing agreement signed

Posted on 8 Nov 2011

ALBERTS is absolutely thrilled to announce that Indie poppers SAN CISCO have joined the independent music rights company’s group of talented music creators.  ALBERTS will be representing the worldwide publishing of the Fremantle based group.

ALBERTS have been fans of SAN CISCO since they first heard their King George demos 2 years ago. Catchy hooks, clever songwriting and bright melodies created by Jordi Davieson, Josh Biondillo, Nick Gardner & Scarlett Stevens, impressed everyone from the very beginning.

“When I first heard Golden Revolver I loved it! This is a unique young band bursting with creative energy, who have a real shot internationally.  We're looking forward to working with Phil [Stevens] and our partners around the world to help San Cisco grow,” said Michael Szumowski, Head of Creative Development at Alberts.

Esteemed manager Philip Stevens is also delighted to be working closely with Alberts.
“It is an amazing pleasure to have San Cisco partner with Alberts worldwide. Alberts and Philip Mortlock in particular, were the first publishers to say they liked their music and their songs, over 2 years ago. The team at Alberts have since shown an immense passion for San Cisco's music, and have displayed great A & R skills in courting the band to their company,” said Philip Stevens. “At a time when most companies are looking for completed projects, Alberts still believe in the development process and can identify potential at an early stage.”

It’s an exciting time for SAN CISCO. Coinciding with Jordi’s high school exams and getting ready for shows across the country, their infectious new song ‘Awkward’ has smashed into the Australian Alternative Airplay Charts topping it at #1 and remains there this week for its 2nd consecutive week.

SAN CISCO join fellow ALBERTS songwriters ROSCOE JAMES IRWIN, MEGAN WASHINGTON, LEE GROVES, SEABELLIES, OLD MAN RIVER, HARMONY JAMES, DAVID GUETTA, HARRY VANDA, GEORGE, MALCOLM & ANGUS YOUNG to name just a few.

So what do the SAN CISCO think of today’s big announcement?

"Totally stoked to be joining the Alberts family..... Who's having Xmas this year?!" said Jordi Davieson.

We’ll be seeing you at the dinner table in December SAN CISCO! Welcome to ALBERTS!
