San Cisco nominated for Independent Music Awards

The fresh faces of the independent music scene, are nominated for both Breakthrough Independent Artist of the Year and Best Independent Single of EP. 

It's been a massive week for the Fremantle band, with the announcement that the band have signed to the US label Fat Possum Records. Fat Possum will be releasing their forthcoming debut album internationally, as well as an EP compiling their earlier material. In Australia their debut album will be released on their own label, Island City Records, distributed by MGM, on November 23. The first single will released to radio next month.

San Cisco are launching a world tour next month, taking in the UK, Germany, Holland and the US, including a showcase as part of the CMJ Music Marathon in New York.

The awards will be once again held at Revolt Art Space in Kensington this October.
