Four piece Oceanics are the newest addition to Alberts

Hailing from the Gold Coast, Oceanics (not "The" Oceanics) members Elliot Weston, Jackson Haswell, Andy Giesel and Tom Garnett are no stranger to Alberts.
Having recorded their EPs with ARIA award winning producer/engineer Wayne Connolly in Alberts' studios at the start of the year, it is with great pleasure we welcome Oceanics having signed a global publishing agreement this week.
The Britpop-influenced band met at high-school in 2005 with the ambition to bring their big hallow guitars and clean jangling tones to the live scene. Since debuting their live performance in 2010, the lads have performed at Big Day Out 2011 (Gold Coast), supported US pop Quartet “The Like”, have had videos featured on MTViggy, Artist of the day on MSN & AOL in the USA, performed with “Michi” on MTV Japan, sync’s for Quiksilver Pro Series & Fox 8 program “SLiDE”, showcase at Bigsound Music Conference and have had a plethora of live shows in Australia supporting such acts as The Grates, Sparkadia, Deep Sea Arcade, Ball Park Music, The Cairos, Seabellies, Glass Towers and Drawn from Bees.
Oceanics Bright People EP is available now.
