Alberts welcomes Brendan Gallagher

Alberts are thrilled to announce that they will be representing music all rounder Brendan Gallagher’s works  world-wide. 

Brendan is best known as singer/songwriter with Karma County. Since 1995 the band have released six albums and toured around Australia and the world. His debut solo album On Eve St was one of the top 25 albums for the Australian Music Prize 2006. In 2009 he followed up with his second solo album Tooraloo & Tender.
Brendan has produced over twenty albums, including two ARIA award winners - Jimmy Little’s instant Australian classic Messenger (1999) and Karma County’s Into The Land Of Promise (2000). His distinctive guitar playing can be heard on recordings for artists like David Bowie, Jimmy Little and Kylie Minogue.
He is also the author of The Open Tuning Chord Book For Guitar, first published in 1994 and now in its third edition worldwide through Music Sales.It has found its way into the guitar cases of musicians like David Bowie, Peter Buck (REM), Lee Ritenour, Arlo Guthrie, David Hidalgo (Los Lobos), Paul Kelly, Paul Weller, PJ Harvey, Murray ‘Red Wiggle’ Cook, Lloyd Cole, Tim Rogers and everyday guitarists from Ireland to Lithuania.
Brendan’s songs have appeared in feature films like Somersault, Clubland & The Boys Are Back and TV shows like Sea Change & City Homicide. He has composed for short films by Rachel Perkins and Warwick Thornton and documentaries for ABC and SBS TV. In 2009 he composed the score for Aussie  feature film Subdivision.
