Years of overseas traveling, Mishelle has co-written for Film, TV and international Acts (as far as China, Holland and the USA) with some of the best in the music business including James Brown and the Go Go’s.
Mishelle released her acclaimed debut album “Firefly” in 2004, and it’s gorgeously inviting philosophical folk style gave her the chance to tour her acoustic act from regional Queensland all the way to Nashville's Tin Pan South Festival.
As a songwriter Mishelle has again made her mark here in Australia taking out the prestigious Johnny Dennis Screen Composers Awards in Sydney, Port Fairy Folk Festival Professional Songwriters Award and making Top Five in the Song for Australia competition.
Mishelle now calls Queensland's Sunshine Coast after years moving between Bryon Bay, Sydney and Los Angeles. After the birth of her two daughters she completed a Degree in Music Education and now combines her music industry skills as an entertainer and her knowledge as a registered teacher by sharingher fun and quirky style of kids tunes, daring family audiences everywhere to dance, imagine, sing and smile.
Since the addition of a baby boy to the family, Mishelle has been as busy as ever. Having recently been commissioned by artist/designer Helen Shadforth to write a series of childrens picture books for brand Poss and Wom, Mishelle is now touring schools/ bookstores as co-creator of the Poss and Wom musical storytelling show which includes live Australian animals.
