One of Australia’s most successful writer/producers.
Michael has worked with many local and international artists and songwriters from a range of musical genres. His open and diverse approach to writing and production makes him well respected amongst his peers.
A musician himself, Michael began his career in the music industry in his late teens playing in various bands but discovered early on that his true passion was behind the scenes, writing and producing. Over the last two decades he has skilfully written and produced songs by artists here in Australia and other territories such as Germany, France, Spain and Japan, picking up a host of gold and platinum awards along the way.
Michael’s love of composition has led him to write and produce scores for television, animation and other visual media including What Do You Know (Australian ABC TV, 2010), The Hog (Australian Animation Short Film, 2010) and Australian Documentary ‘First Stop Iowa’ 2009.
Last year Michael joined the Creative Services team at Alberts as Head of Creative Development where his role sees him working closely with many up and coming, as well as established artists and songwriters. Some of these include Australian artists Old Man River, Seabellies, Josh Pyke, Richard Clapton, Guy Sebastian, Vanessa Jade, The Veronicas and International artist Gemma Ray.
